While the vehicle is driven between the guide rails the System actuators automatically control the units operation. First, the detergent applicator covers the entire surface with wash solution. Then, the friction wash curtain cleans the roof of all dirt and grime. Next, the two specially designed brushes scrub the vehicle which is lubricated with detergent for optimum cleaning and longer brush life. To complete the cycle, the final rinse arch thoroughly flushes all dirt and detergent from the vehicle.

Many options are available, including a vehicle speed monitoring system, an automatic bearing lubrication system, and a computerized maintenance and repair monitoring system.

TBW's advanced Bus & Truck Washer offers high volume, low operating cost and excellent cleaning efficiency. Model 5370 is also available to wash LTR vehicles and subway trains.

While the vehicle is driven through the system, all units are controlled by automatic actuators. First the pre-rinse/detergent arch rinses the entire surface of the vehicle while applying a wash solution.

Then the friction wash curtain cleans the complete roof area. Next, four counter rotating, contoured brushes scrub the front, sides and rear of the vehicle. Detergent is applied for longer brush wear and optimum cleaning. The final spray arch thoroughly rinses all dirt and detergent away. leaving the vehicles sparkling clean.

TBW Combination Brush & Touchless High Pressure Drive-Thru

The TBW Combo Drive-Thru is the solution to the large fleet owners dilemma of how to quickly and economically clean and maintain their fleets on a regular basis. This system is designed and engineered to obtain optimum cleaning results in the shortest amount of time -- clean 30 to 60 vehicles per hour, depending on the type, without incurring damages.

Example: As the vehicle to be washed approaches the wash lane the exterior traffic signal denotes the wash lane is ready to be entered. The driver enters the wash lane and the entire vehicle passes through the pre-soaked detergent arch spreading a layer of cleaning detergent over the vehicle.

Proceeding forward and after the tractor has cleared the side brushes, the brushes begin cleaning the front corners of the trailer, moving along the sides and overlapping on the rear to ensure proper cleaning of the trailer. As the tractor enters the high-pressure spinner arch, the entire tractor is cleaned with high-pressure water (eliminating any damage to mirrors, antenna's, etc.)

As the vehicle exits the wash lane, a fresh water rinse arch thoroughly rinses the entire vehicle.
