THE HURRICANE, an Ozonated Container Washer, decontaminates trailers, industrial containers, carry, tote and trash bins of foodborne diseases by destroying bacteria, fungus, E. coli, Hepatitis-A and Salmonella build up. Its multipurpose function allows for the system to be used on equipment, workstations and surface areas thereby maximizing food safety and eliminating the possibility of spreading any foodborne illnesses.

THE HURRICANE is a fully self-contained system housed on its own trailer with an easily operated control panel. The unit has an automated trolley that washes the interior of the containers and an easily detachable spray wand that can disinfect work areas, surfaces and equipment. With its custom fit trolley, once activated it effectively moves front to back decontaminating the interior of a full length trailer (60 feet) within four minutes.

Ozone is a very effective disinfectant, killing disease causing bacteria, viruses, fungi (mold and yeast) and protozoa including crytospoidium. In addition, ozone can oxidize various organic and inorganic compounds such as cyanide, pesticides and solvents. The United States Food and Drug Administration deems ozone as "Generally Regarded as Safe" ('GRAS') for use on food, food preparation equipment and transportation containers.
